Okay. So, you plan for an outing. You’ve prepared the proper clothing. You’ve cleaned the bike. You’ve oiled the chain. You get ready to leave and you find you need some air in the tires. Simple enough?
I was ready to head out this morning for only the 2nd road ride since I bought my new Scott road bike. I tried putting air in the front tire and ended up breaking the valve stim off. Brilliant.
I think this little part is needed to keep air in the tire. What do you think?
Now, it’s a trip to the bike shop to get a new tube and a re-schedule of the bike ride. So much for planning ahead. I hope your Labor Day is going a little better.
I guess I’ll mow the lawn.
